Founder
Kiren Bansal, MA (she/her/hers)
Founder, Stardust Consult
Kiren Bansal is an Indian-British-American social impact strategist and the founder of Stardust Consult. She began freelancing in 2020 in response to the growing demand for project-based and fractional support from experienced social impact professionals. After more than 20 years of in-house leadership across purpose-driven organizations, Kiren made the leap to consulting — and Stardust Consult was born.
She brings cross-sector expertise in strategy development, revenue generation, marketing and communications, branding, project and program management, volunteer and employee engagement, corporate responsibility, environmental sustainability, partnership development, event production and external relations. Her experience spans the arts, environmental, human rights, global health, and communications sectors.
Education
Kiren holds a Master’s in Global Affairs (Global Culture & Society) from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies (Public Policy & Management) from the University of Southern California.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Innovation at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, where her research focuses on corporate environmental responsibility, frugal AI solutions for good, and innovative strategies to tackle complex global challenges and wicked problems.
Volunteer & Board Service
A committed advocate for social justice, Kiren has championed diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout her career. Her volunteer activities have included alumni board membership for George Mason University, where she served on the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Alumni Chapter Board. She has also been a member of USC's reunion committees and USC Trojan Entertainment Network Boards, among others.
